Scrapbook making is a fun and rewarding activity that can be shared with your friends and family. There is only one problem with it. It is highly addictive! Once you start, it can be difficult to stop and all of a sudden you find yourself wanting to scrap every photo you own and taking even more photos because you know they would look so good in your albums.

And on top of that, there are so many gorgeous papers and embellishments out there to tempt us. If you’re like me, your stash grows faster than you can scrap and there are a bunch of beautiful supplies hiding in your stash that you just love but have absolutely no idea what to do with!

Because of this, scrapbook making can become overwhelming at times.

But I’ve found a short cut – a way to make stunning pages in your own style without wanting to tear your hair out.

Scrapbook sketches are the answer!

They show you at a glance what elements you need and how to arrange them to create a sensational layout you can be proud of. You still get to choose your colours, patterns and embellishments, but all the hard work of trying to figure out how to put them all together has been done for you.

It doesn’t matter if you are a complete scrapbook making newbie or a seasoned pro, you’ll be racing through your photos in no time and scrapping up a storm!

My favourite collection of scrapbooking sketches that I think should be on every scrappers ‘Must Have’ list is 500 Scrapbooking Sketches by Jennifer Gormly. It’s a huge collection of sketches that will keep you inspired for ages. And they are all organised by how many photos are featured in the sketch so it’s simple and quick to find a sketch to suit any scrapbooking project.

If you’ve never used sketches before, don’t worry. There are also plenty of useful tips and instructions to get you started. Before long, you’ll wonder what you ever did without it!

I think 500 Scrapbooking Sketches is an absolute must have for someone who loves scrapbook making and is looking for fresh ideas and inspiration.
